Scope of Application

Pan Dez is a preparation in granular form used for potable well and reservoir water disinfection, swimming pool water disinfection, disinfection of surfaces such as floors and walls and surfaces which come into contact with food, as well as chlorine resistant equipment. Pan Dez preparation is widely used in food industry, public facilities, health and veterinary facilities (veterinary stations), as well as animal husbandry facilities.

Instructions for Use

Swimming pool water disinfection

Prior to the application of this preparation pool water pH level should be between 7.2 and 7.6. Before filling a pool in with ordinary tap water for the first time, water needs to be hyperchlorinated using the preparation Pan Dez, 15-20 g/m3 (granules should first be dissolved in water in a separate container and then such solution should be poured into the pool), i.e. 2-4 scoops per m3 of water. When the level of free residual chlorine drops to 2 mg/l, swimming in pools is allowed (the period of up to 24 hours is required). For further daily maintenance of satisfactory hygienic level, the preparation Pan Dez needs to be added, in the amount of 2g/ m3, whereby the level of free residual chlorine should be maintained at 0.5 to 1 mg/l (wait at least 30 minutes before swimming).

Potable well and reservoir water disinfection

Prior to the first disinfection treatment, water needs to be hyperchorinated, using 15-20g of the preparation per 1000 liters of water. After such disinfection, a period of up to 24 hours needs to pass for the water to become potable. Further on, regular disinfection of potable well and reservoir water is performed by dissolving Pan Dez granules, in the following ratio: 2g/m3 of water. The water disinfected in such a manner is suitable for use after 30 minutes. The amount of free residual chlorine in treated water must be within the scope of 0.3-0.5 mg/L.

Sanitation

Pan Dez preparation is used for general sanitation, in the above-mentioned scope of application, as a solution with the concentration 1 g/5l of water. Adequate amount is measured using the provided scoop, whose volume is 5g. Such a solution may be used in the period of maximum 7 hours for disinfection of various items, accessories, devices and equipment resistant to chlorine, including cutlery and crockery, floors, walls, sanitary facilities, means of transport, pipelines, tanks, feeders and drinkers for animals. Disinfection can be performed by immersing, spraying and wiping above mentioned items with a cloth, after 3 minute exposure (for previously mechanically cleaned items and accessories) and maximum 2h exposure (for more contaminated items and accessories). Due to a very small quantity of residual chlorine, rinsing the treated item with water after disinfection is not required. For better results of cleaning, pipeline disinfection preparations may be simultaneously combined only with anionic detergents and soaps. After the application of such a preparation combination, water rinsing is mandatory, whereby the final disinfection must be performed using only Pan Dez solution. 1% solution (10g/1L) shall be used for disinfection of contaminated material (pus, blood, feces).

Note

Prevent the Pan Dez preparation to come in contact with moisture, acids, organic matter, which can oxidize, such as fuels, oils, lubricants, cellulose products, dyes, alcohol, disinfectants and ammonium compounds. Avoid exposure to sunlight, heat and open flames. Keep the remaining quantities tightly closed. Rinse empty containers well with water, so that the residual quantity of the preparation is dissolved completely. Do not use empty, rinsed containers for any purpose.
